It marked a departure from the band\u2019s hard rock sound and showed a gentler side. <\/span>Patience<\/span><\/a> became a hit and is considered a classic by one of the biggest rock bands in history. <\/span><\/p>\n

It is a fairly easy song to play songs if you have just a little experience. However, it’s important to mention that Patience, like all Guns N\u2019 Roses songs, features a half step lower tuning. You can still learn it in regular tuning and then adjust if you want to play along with the recording. Patience features some basic chords that are within the reach of most beginners. The chords are C, G, A, Dsus, D, D9, Em. Guns N\u2019 Roses couldn\u2019t have picked an easier set of chords for this beautiful song. And don\u2019t be fooled by the various D chords. These are just variations of a D major, where you add the pinky right next to the middle finger (Dsus) and remove the middle finger completely (D9).
